This is so beautiful! I am absolutely in love with it! So much in love with it that when I saw in on Pinterest, I had to figure out my login for my deviantart that I made and haven't used in over a decade so that I could tell you and then ask: would you be alright with me getting it as a tattoo? I have a half sleeve of images inspired by fairy tales (got my MA in literature through studying fairy tales and folk tales), and have spent years searching for images that resonate with me the same way the stories do. I always want permission from the artist, and I would never use it in a commerical way. I would add to it (not directly touching the design) by adding a crown above the bears head so that he would symbolize the story "East of the Sun, West of the Moon" for me. Please let me know what you think.
